Not vinyl.
“Vinyl” has become synonymous with the music format of records. Well it turns out vinyl as a material is one of the worst for people and for the planet. As a music format records have seen a meteoric rise in recent years where record manufacturers are booked months or years in advance.
In the pursuit of charismatic uses for a cast polyurethane made from algae Mitch had the idea to see if we could make a playable record. Amazingly, it worked and we were able to create playable prototype records.
